These terms cover use of tailclear.com and the TailClear app, provided by Lowcountry Aerospace & Compliance ("LCA"). Your organization's written service agreement with LCA, if any, controls where it differs from these terms.
What TailClear is
TailClear is a planning and visibility tool. It displays and projects information imported from other systems or entered by users. It is not a maintenance tracking system of record and does not determine airworthiness. The operator's approved maintenance program, tracking system, MEL and the judgment of certificated personnel remain the authority. Always verify limits and due items against the source record before acting.
Projections and photo readings
Projected dates are estimates based on utilization and may differ from actual. Values read from photos must be checked by the user before saving; the user is responsible for what is saved.
Accounts
Keep your login private and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. Your organization's administrators control who has access to its data.
Your data
Your organization owns the data it puts into TailClear. You give LCA permission to host and process it only to provide and support the service.
Acceptable use
Don't try to access another organization's data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it.
Third-party systems
Product names such as CAMP, CMP, Traxxall, Veryon, Flightdocs, FL3XX and JetInsight are trademarks of their owners. TailClear is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Connections to those systems depend on the vendor and your account with them.
Disclaimers and liability
TailClear is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, LCA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made without verifying the source record, and LCA's total liability is limited to the amount paid for TailClear in the 12 months before the claim.
