Privacy policy

TailClear is operated by Lowcountry Aerospace & Compliance ("LCA", "we"), Guyton, Georgia. This policy explains what we collect through tailclear.com and the TailClear app, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name if you give it, email address, and a password stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider.
- Operator data: aircraft, maintenance due items, flight schedules, deferrals, parts, tire and brake readings, and photos that you or your organization import or enter.
- Contact requests: what you send through the setup-call form.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To run TailClear for your organization, support your setup, secure the service, and respond to you. We do not sell personal information and do not use operator data for advertising.
Photo reading
When you use photo logging, the photo is sent to an AI model provider to read the values, and the result is shown to you to check. The provider processes it to return the result and does not use it to train models under our agreement. The photo is then stored privately in your operator's account.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that host and run TailClear (for example, hosting, database, email delivery and the AI model provider), under confidentiality and security obligations; people in your organization you grant access to; and when required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each operator's records are separated at the database level, access is controlled by role, and changes are logged.
Retention and your choices
We keep operator data while your organization uses TailClear and delete it within 90 days after the account closes, unless the law requires otherwise. You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing mxsupport@lcaaog.com.
